NEW PATIENT INFORMATION
At Noranda Chiropractic Centre we are always welcoming and accepting new patients.
We are excited to be a part of your journey to achieving optimal health.
A chiropractic visit is similar to other healthcare appointments. After you complete the ‘new patient information paperwork and consent to treatment form’ your chiropractor will discuss with you your current situation and ask you some specific questions relating to your presenting condition. Having satisfied these questions the practitioner will then perform a thorough examination, which may include:
- Case history
- Physical examination
- Chiropractic examination (range of motion or flexibility tests, muscle tone and strength tests, reflexes, posture, sports and functionality assessment)
- Diagnostic tests
- X-rays and or additional testing procedures as may be ordered if indicated
Once your chiropractor has carefully examined you and assessed all of the information you’ve provided, they will discuss with you their findings and share with you their recommendations regarding the type of treatment and a treatment plan and with your consent administer your first adjustment. You will spend about 30-45 minutes with us during your initial visit.
