WHAT WE TREAT

Book Online
Chiropractors are spinal health care professionals.

Medical research suggests many of us may live to 100 — the real question is how well we will live along the way.

The good news is that your daily habits have a powerful impact on your future health. Research shows that while genetics play a role, the majority of your long-term health is influenced by lifestyle choices such as movement, sleep, nutrition, stress management, and social connection.

Every positive choice you make today is an investment in your future self. Stay active, eat well, prioritise recovery, and look after both your body and mind.

Your health is your greatest asset — protect it, strengthen it, and invest in it every day.

As Chiropractors, we take a personalised and evidence-informed approach to your care. Treatment typically combines chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and practical advice and education tailored to your specific condition and goals.

To further support your recovery and performance, we may also incorporate therapies such as Shockwave Therapy and Dry Needling where appropriate.

For many musculoskeletal conditions, these approaches are recognised as effective first-line treatments — helping to reduce pain, improve movement, and get you back to doing what you love sooner. Conditions we commonly help with include:.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on healthy function of the spine, muscles and the nervous system

Chiropractors recognise that dysfunction in the movement and position of the joints and soft tissue structures in the spine can create stress on the nerves that control and coordinate the body’s many functions.

This interference to the normal function of the nervous system may make the body more susceptible to various conditions such as headaches and lower back pain, just to name a few.

The immobility of spinal joints may lead to accelerated wear and tear in the joints resulting in arthritis. Chiropractors aim to restore normal function to joints of the spine and body using gentle manipulation, also called adjustments. It is a highly safe and effective therapy suitable for babies, children, adults, elderly and athletes.

As joint mobility and function improves, interference to the nervous system is often alleviated, with the result that the body is able to restore function in the relevant symptomatic area.

Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counselling.

Remedial massage

Remedial massage is a form of massage therapy that helps to relieve pain and promote healing of damaged tendons and muscles.

The massage is done with oil and is applied directly to the skin.

It stimulates the blood supply, helping it to remove toxins from the muscles and thereby bringing about healing.

It helps to ease tightness, stiffness, soreness and promote deep relaxation by reducing muscle tension. It promotes flexibility and ease of movement.

Remedial massage can help relieve conditions such as sprains and strains, back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, arthritis, and fibromyalgia.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture originated from ancient China and has been used for thousands of years to treat a variety of conditions, and focuses on improving the overall wellbeing of the patient.

It involves the insertion of very thin needles through the patient’s skin at specific points on the body called trigger points.

According to Traditional Chinese medicine, stimulating these points can correct imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians.

Acupuncture is best known for its ability to successfully treat pain and its causes. It alleviates pain by raising endorphin levels and diminishing the nervous system’s sympathetic response.

Acupuncture decreases inflammation and swelling, relaxes muscles to prevent spasms, and increases energy and blood circulation to the local area, aiding in fast healing and recovery.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy, also known as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing process, particularly for musculoskeletal conditions. It’s often used to treat chronic tendon and soft tissue injuries, as well as to promote bone healing and pain management.

These shockwaves trigger a biological response, increasing blood flow, stimulating tissue regeneration, and potentially breaking down calcium deposits.

The benefits of Shockwave Therapy include:

Non-invasive: Avoids surgery and long recovery times.

Stimulates natural healing: Encourages the body to heal itself.

Pain relief: Provides pain reduction and improved mobility.

Effective for chronic conditions: Treats long-term injuries that may not respond to other treatments

We are now offering Shockwave Therapy to the areas surrounding Morley, Noranda, Beechboro, Bedford and Dianella.

pregnancy

Pregnancy is an exciting period that brings with it many hopes, perhaps some fears, many expectations and, of course, rapid physical changes!

Pregnancy is an exciting period that brings with it many hopes, perhaps some fears, expectations and, of course, rapid physical changes! Common changes include a rise in hormone levels and weight, increased laxity of ligaments, and the shifting of your centre of gravity.

Care and advice from one of our qualified Chiropractors during pregnancy may help you cope with these changes by ensuring you have a well-aligned spine and pelvis and a healthy nervous system. This may create a better space for your developing baby, prepare your spine for delivery and relieve pelvic and low back pain at a time when some medications aren’t an option.
